Thank you Elm Grove Family! The meals you helped package are on their way to Haiti...
To address some of the challenges community members in Haiti face in providing healthy food for their families, Rise Against Hunger partners with organizations serving food at schools and vocational training centers. This is a key part of Rise Against Hunger’s Nourishing Lives pathway. The meals you packaged will help ensure that people have access to the consistent nourishment they need to live healthy lives, while also supporting the opportunity to receive an education that will serve their families for years to come. In every delicate gesture—from choosing the right utensil to gently laying our napkins upon our laps, from assisting our friends with their chairs to sitting up tall with pride—we are not simply dining; we are embracing the beauty of good manners at the 4th grade manners banquet. Our hearts swelled with pride as we showcased our skills along side with some special guests, including our very own esteemed Superintendent, Dr. Roger Brown. This moment was more than a gathering; it was a celebration of respect, kindness, and the joy of coming together as a community!
