So proud of our students that competed in the Destination Imagination Competition this weekend! Way to Go!

The tradition continues!! Elm Grove sent the KPARK swimmers off to Austin today for the state meet.

Fourth grade wrapped up our Junior Park Ranger unit by connecting with community park rangers from Sheldon Lake State Park! The kids loved sharing their ECRs about how the Junior Ranger program benefits kids in Texas.
They canβt wait to visit Sheldon Lake soon and earn their first Junior Ranger badge. Bonus: every kid took home a National Parks pass to get their family in for free at any National Park in America.

Congratulations to Selene Torres, Sofia Cupic, Dalary Garcia, B Mcmullin, Skyla Gunter, and Emmalynn Doyle who were chosen to represent our school in this year's TAEA online art event! Emmalynn's will be on display at the Administration building exhibit. There will be a reception on March 10th 5-7 to honor her as well as others in the district.

Fourth graders have loved learning about the Junior Park Ranger Program in Texas. We started by exploring some tools and activity journals from the parks. We can't wait for Sheldon Lake State Park rangers to visit us this week to show them what we've learned!

Our pre-K and kindergarteners learned all about healthy teeth today. Brushing, flossing, fighting sugar bugs, and making smart food and drink choices.

Big smiles and healthy habits! ππ¦· Our younger students loved learning about dental health from a local visiting professional who showed them how to keep their smiles strong and bright.
When life gives you clouds, make raindrops! βοΈβ¨ Todayβs mission: Mastering the letter R and decorating our own little storm with rain drops. Who knew rain could be so fun!
