Thank you to our amazing ECC families for helping make our annual Egg Hunt one to remember! We collected over 12,000 eggs (including 2,245 in Mrs. Bellah's class alone)! ECC students had so much fun collecting eggs with their friends!

Yesterday, our friends from Harris County Public Health talked with our ECC friends about taking care of our teeth! Thank you for teaching us about our teeth, how to take care of them, and the dental staff who help take care of us!
We celebrated Mardi Gras at the ECC with a fun parade, with lots of beads, hats, masks, and costumes! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
The ECC celebrated the 100th Day of School with hats, special shirts, and even a glow stick dance party!

The Humble ISD Rodeo Art Show is not short on talent! If you couldn’t make it last night, another showing is TONIGHT, Jan. 29, at the Humble Civic Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Humble ISD will be OPEN Tuesday, January 27. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.
We understand that because of the cold some families may need extra time in the morning and may choose to take students to school rather than have them wait outside at bus stops. To provide flexibility, middle schools and high schools will not record student tardies for the first period on Tuesday. Elementary schools will not record student tardies until after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The district is allowed to exempt first period tardiness due to the weather. However, absences on Tuesday must be recorded due to state education code requirements.
We appreciate your support through the winter storm.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the ECC will be closed on Monday, January 19th. We'll see you back at the ECC on Tuesday, January 20th!
ECC will be participating in the "Be the Change Challenge" from January 19th to 23rd! Please join your teachers and classmates by dressing up and learning all about kindness and personal growth!
This Thursday, January 15th is National Hat Day! Students are encouraged to celebrate by wearing their favorite hat to school.
