Welcome to the AMS Dance Team!

This is my 5th year with AMS and 7th year with Humble ISD. Ms. Bradley previously served as the Assistant Director with the Atascocita High School Patriettes Dance Team for the 2018-2019 school year. I was also a former Humble ISD student. During my high school career, I was part of a pre-professional ballet company, Kingwood Dance Theatre. Performances included: The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland the Ballet, Snow White the Ballet, Cinderella the Ballet, numerous performances at the Hobby Center in downtown Houston, and danced on tour in Italy, Germany, and Austria over the summer of 2012. I then studied at Texas State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication – Journalism. It was during college that I was introduced to drill team by becoming a Texas State Strutter and fell in love with it! I now continue my love of dance and drill team through teaching. I am so thrilled to start working with the Atascocita Middle School Dance Department and the Tigerettes Dance Team.

Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

I'm looking forward to an amazing year!

Sincerely,
Ms. Bradley

Class Information

The AMS Dance program will offer students an opportunity to participate, learn, and grow in various dance styles. Such dance genres include: ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. Students will be working in a collaborative setting, especially when learning to create choreography.

Beginner Dance (Dance 1), Intermediate/Advanced Dance (Dance 2/3) will be offered and will study each of these genres of dance alongside learning how to be a healthy dancer and dance as an art. In such, this course may count as either a PE credit or fine art credit.

Please check your student's schedule and ensure they are in the correct level of Dance. New students (even if they are in 7th or 8th grade) MUST be in Dance 1 unless they have a scheduled audition to potentially move up Dance Class levels.

If you have any questions please contact the Dance Instructor for Atascocita Middle School, Sarah Bradley.
