Journalism and AV Students descended on San Marcos this past weekend for the ILPC Summer Workshop. The students spent the week taking photos, making videos and learning everything they could about Yearbook design and Newspaper.

Practicum in AV Students met with former Atascocita Student Council President (Class of 2011) and current Texas State Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement Tori Jaworski, who gave them an all access tour of the Colosseum and Football stadium. They were also invited back to Texas State during the season to get a behind the scenes look at how everything works for a live broadcast.

The Atascocita High School Mario Kart team has raced to victory, winning the state championship and now heading to the national finals! Catch Devon Graham, Alan Melendez Gonzalez (subbing for Noah Snow), Bailey St Julian, and Zachary Bigham as they compete for the national title on June 4th at 4 PM. Special shoutout to Noah Snow, a key player in the state win and national qualification, who is now serving our country in basic training. Letβs go, Eagles! π¦

Atascocita baseball defeats Pearland 2-1 to win the 4th round series!! Atascocita won Game 2 (4-1) earlier Saturday and finished the series with a second victory later in the day. The Eagles are moving on to the State Semifinals for the first time since 2014!!! #UILState

CTE teacher Jeff Mack's student, Reece Tanig, created and submitted an original film to the 8th Annual Houston Teens Care About Clean Air video contest. Hey Class of 2026! If you're planning to drive to campus next year, hereβs what you need to know about parking:
πΉ Eligibility: Juniors (Class of 2026) are now eligible to apply for on-campus parking permits.
πΉ Where to purchase: RevTrak Class of 2026 Senior Painted Parking
πΉ Required Info:
A. Students who expect to operate a motor vehicle on campus must provide a Provisional driverβs license and Vehicle Registration Form, proof of vehicle insurance with driverβs name on the insurance, and payment to register the vehicle. Learner Driverβs License and temporary permits are not accepted.
B. Vehicles bearing a special permit for the handicapped may park in designated handicapped spaces.
C. If it becomes necessary to operate a non-registered vehicle temporarily for emergencies, a temporary permit must be obtained from administration and affixed to the vehicle. D. Students must have liability insurance to cover other vehiclesβ damages in case of an accident
πΉ Cost: $75 for the senior spot and $30 for the permit
π’ Spots are limited, so make sure you purchase early!
