We are so proud of our Animation 2 & Practicum in Animation students, who have submitted three original animated films to the UIL Young Filmmakers Contest after five months of hard work and creativity. The Humble ISD 2026-2027 District Calendar was approved at the Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and the last day of school for students will be Friday, May 28, 2027.

NEWS: Atascocita High School QB Cardae Mack has been named the 2025 Touchdown Club of Houston Dick Peebles Co-Offensive Player of the Year!!

Mack joins Kenyon Green (2018), Jerrod Johnson (2005) and Leo Mills (1997) as winners of the award in Humble ISD history. #txhsfb

NEWS: Atascocita QB/RB Cardae Mack has been named a FINALIST for the Touchdown Club of Houston Offensive Player of the Year Award!

Mack passed for 2,099 yards and 32 TDs and rushed for another 1,549 yards and 20 touchdowns. The Arizona State-signee accounted for 52 touchdowns in 2025.

The winner will be announced December 10 at the annual Touchdown Club of Houston UIL High School Awards Dinner.

The AV and Journalism students got a personal tour around the Journalism and Media program at Texas State with a hands on demo at the state of the art Live Oak Hall, as well as a behind the scenes look into an ESPN+ steamed Sporting event.

Comedian and educator Devin Siebold, from Bored Teachers, visited AHS today to share how humor can build connection and engagement in the classroom—thanks to teacher Randy Tumlison for organizing the inspiring session!
