Humble ISD recognized the Atascocita High School Esports Mario Kart Team for winning the Texas Esports State Championship in Waco.
Team members include Bailey St. Julian, Jhayce Bourgeois, Zachary Bigham and Alan Melendez Gonzalez. The team is sponsored by Christian Box and Mike Yuchs.
The championship marks the team's second consecutive state title, highlighting the continued success of Atascocita High School's esports program.
The students were recognized by the Humble ISD Board of Trustees during the May 26 Recognition Board Meeting for their outstanding achievement and for representing Humble ISD at the highest level of scholastic esports competition.
