Each summer, Carnegie Hallโ€™s Weill Music Institute brings together top young musicians from across the country to form the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America, a free program for all participants.

Following a competitive audition process and a multiweek training residency with leading professional orchestra musicians, Atascocita High Schoolโ€™s Evan Salas and Summer Creek High Schoolโ€™s Ethan Abrahams-Nhliziyo were among 97 students selected to participate.

The orchestra, open to students ages 16-19, will tour Europe this year, including stops in Amsterdam, Berlin and Edinburgh, while serving as cultural ambassadors through music.
