Humble Independent School District is proud to announce the first annual Humble ISD Commander’s Cup, a districtwide JROTC competition featuring all five Humble ISD high school JROTC programs. The event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Turner Stadium.
The Commander’s Cup will showcase the leadership, discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit of Humble ISD’s cadets. Participating schools and service branches include:
Atascocita High School (AHS) – U.S. Marine Corps JROTC
Humble High School (HHS) – U.S. Army JROTC
Kingwood High School (KHS) – U.S. Navy JROTC
Kingwood Park High School (KPHS) – U.S. Air Force JROTC
Summer Creek High School (SCHS) – U.S. Army JROTC
Throughout the competition, cadets will demonstrate skills developed through their JROTC programs while competing for the inaugural Commander’s Cup trophy and district bragging rights.
Parents, families, and community members are encouraged to attend and support the cadets. Spectators are asked to bring their own camp chairs and water. A limited selection of concessions will be available for purchase on site.
The event will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m., with competitions running throughout the morning and culminating with an awards ceremony upon completion of all events.
