Greentree Elementary hosted "Hope for Holcomb Day" on Wednesday, March 27, surprising GTE reading specialist Jenny Holcomb, whose husband Pres has been battling colon cancer since 2019. March is Colorectal Cancer Month and Greentree chose to raise awareness by students and staff wearing blue and Hope for Holcomb t-shirts.

YMCA of Greater Houston has joined with the Miracle League to provide families a safe outlet for their children with special needs to experience the joy and benefits that come with being part of a team. Miracle League Baseball is free to participants and open to ages 4 and up. Season starts Saturday, April 6. In-person registration is suggested at the Lake Houston YMCA location.
