A call to 911 saved paraprofessional Brandy Mills' life in July 2021. COVID-19 had severely damaged her lungs. Months were spent in the hospital. There were many days in which her mom, husband and daughter wondered if they would ever see Brandy again. But a double lung transplant gave Brandy a new chance at life, and each day she counts her blessings.
