• Lone Star Applications being accepted for Lone Star's Leadership Program

    The Lone Star College - Leadership High School Program is open to all 10th-11th grade students. It's a free opportunity for students to gain valuable leadership skills through collaboration with other students and leaders throughout the community. This valuable experience looks great on a college application or job resume. Deadline to apply is Sept. 20. Please email Mrs. Young for additional questions.

    With the new year getting started, a few key dates have been announced for big activities throughout the year. Three big ones in the fall are as follows: 

    Sept. 4 - Senior pictures for the yearbook 

    Sept. 11-12 - Underclassmen pictures for the yearbook

    Sept. 28 - Homecoming Dance

    Oct. 4 - Homecoming pep rally/Football game

    Oct. 22 - Day of Service

    Oct. 23 - School picture re-take day

    If students are taking one or more UT OnRamps classes, you need to go online and fill out the required registration information. When you register, payment is due... remember, NO REFUNDS. The payment deadline for all OnRamps classes is Sept. 3.

    There are three Thursdays in the first semester in which students do not have late arrival. They are Sept. 5, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12. The weeks without late arrival in the spring are: Jan. 9, Jan. 23, April 9, April 16, May 7, May 14, May 21.
