Honored at the Board Recognition Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Anjanette Andrus, Paraeducator - Early Childhood Center
Those who nominated her said, β€œShe is being nominated as our Super Staffer because she has gone above and beyond to support her students and classroom while her teacher is on maternity leave. She has truly been the rock holding everything together, stepping up with patience, dedication, flexibility, and an incredible heart for our little learners. Her hard work and willingness to take on additional responsibilities have not gone unnoticed, and she continues to ensure that her students feel loved, supported, and successful each day. Our classroom and our entire ECC are better because of her, and we are incredibly grateful to have her on our team!”

Sarah Garcia, Special Education Instructional Coach - Creekwood Middle School
Those who nominated her said, "Mrs. Garcia starts work before her contract starts and spends long hours after we all go home to make our SPED department stellar! Our staff and students benefit from her behind the scenes guidance and hands on help to all who need her. As our kiddos increase in number, her dedication has been unwavering. She is a great leader and friend who goes so far beyond what her duties are supposed to be. I don't want to imagine CMS without her!”

John Busch, Director of Transportation - Operational Support Services
Those who nominated him said, β€œI would like to nominate John Busch, Director of Transportation, and the entire Humble ISD Transportation Department as Super Staffers for their outstanding work in ensuring a successful start to the 2026–2027 school year. A smooth start to the school year requires an incredible amount of planning, coordination, flexibility, and teamworkβ€”especially when transporting thousands of students safely to and from school each day. John and his team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare routes, respond to enrollment changes, address concerns, and make adjustments as needs arose. Their commitment, long hours, and willingness to problem-solve helped our students arrive safely and ready to learn. I am grateful for John and for every driver, monitor, dispatcher, mechanic, router, and staff member who contributed to such a strong start. Their work is essential to our district, and they deserve to be recognized and celebrated!”
