Jayna Kagezi was named Valedictorian, while Noelle Karamihan earned the distinction of Salutatorian.
βAttending Atascocita High School has helped prepare me for the next chapter of my life by offering classes not available in other districts, such as Humble ISDβs wide array of AP classes and rigorous academic programs,β Kagezi said. βFurthermore, the competitive emphasis on extracurricular activities alongside school allowed me to find a passion outside of classwork. A place to go when I wanted a break- the band hall.β
Karamihan added: βAttending Humble ISD schools has played a major role in preparing me for the next chapter of my life, both through the wide variety of courses offered and the strong sense of community throughout the district. The availability of AP and dual credit classes has challenged me academically and helped me build a strong foundation for college-level work, while electives and career-focused courses have allowed me to explore different interests and better understand my future goals.
βIn addition to academics, what stands out most is the family-like environment across Humble ISD schools. Teachers, staff, and students create a supportive community where relationships matter, which has helped me develop stronger communication skills, accountability, and the ability to work well with others. That sense of connection has made my school experience more meaningful and has also prepared me for collaborative environments in college and beyond.β
