Saumil Patel was named Valedictorian, while Tony Dang earned the distinction of Salutatorian.
“I think that the IB program offered at Humble High School has helped prepare me for the rigor of college,” Patel, who dreams of becoming a doctor, said.
Dang added: “Attending Humble ISD Schools as a collective has helped prepare me for the next chapter of my life in various ways. In my time at River Pines Elementary, I was influenced and taught how to be humble, how to actually listen, and how to support others. At Ross Sterling Middle School, I was shown how to deal with failure, take school more seriously, and make me realize that the original career path I was taking wasn't for me.
“Finally, Humble High School has allowed me to grow upon these very values. However, the lessons I've learned haven't been put to use just on myself, but on others as well. Combined, I believe that the Humble ISD Schools did more than prepare me for the next chapter of my life: it changed what the chapter would become.”
