Audrey Burr was named Valedictorian, while Glenda Afari-Kwarteng earned the distinction of Salutatorian.

β€œAttending Sconzo has given me the resources and skills to excel in college. Our mandatory AVID classes have helped me stay organized and on top of college and scholarship applications; physically going to classes at Lonestar Kingwood has helped me form critical time management skills so I can balance studying and other responsibilities,” Burr said. β€œOur small school community has helped me grow in confidence through leadership positions and a collaborative class culture. Because I went to Sconzo, I am more equipped for college now than I have ever been.”

Afari-Kwarteng added: β€œThe teachers within Humble ISD provided me with the support, encouragement, and guidance I needed to become the best academic version of myself. They challenged me to work harder, stay motivated, and believe in my abilities even during moments when I doubted myself. Because of their dedication, I developed strong study habits, confidence, and a mindset focused on growth and perseverance.

β€œAs I move on to the next chapter of my life, I plan to carry those lessons and that mentality with me. Humble ISD has taught me the importance of adaptability, determination, and taking advantage of every opportunity to learn and improve. I am grateful for the experiences and people who helped shape me into the person and student I am today.”
