The Lake Houston YMCA and the Rotary Club of Lake Houston hosted their 2026 BridgeFest, bringing together the community for fitness, fun and giving back.
A highlight at BridgeFest is the Top 3 Schools Challenge, a challenge that encourages campuses to compete for the highest number of registered participants.
The winning schools—Oak Forest Elementary, River Pines Elementary and Whispering Pines Elementary—each received a $500 donation from the YMCA to support their physical education programs.
The event began as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway Bridge, and has grown into a beloved tradition in the Lake Houston area where all proceeds directly support local initiatives through the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of Lake Houston.
