Chief Solomon Cook of the Humble ISD Police Department was named a Lifetime Member of the Texas Police Chiefs Association (TPCA) during its 67th Annual Conference, held March 30–April 2, 2026, in Corpus Christi.

The recognition, presented by newly appointed TPCA President Chief Carrie Ellis, is part of an initiative recognizing chiefs who have dedicated their careers to advancing law enforcement leadership in Texas. The annual conference brings together law enforcement leaders from across the state for training, collaboration and professional development.

Cook received a Lifetime Member pin and identification card during the ceremony. He expressed gratitude to TPCA leadership for the recognition and said he looks forward to continuing his work with the association to support and mentor the next generation of Texas police chiefs.
