Atascocita quarterback Cardae Mack was named the 2025 Touchdown Club of Houston Dick Peebles Co-Offensive Player of the Year on Wednesday at the Bayou City Event Center.

"It's truly a blessing," Mack said following the awards ceremony. "I worked hard all year. I'm still taking it in. It's a lot."

Mack shared the honor with Strake Jesuit running back John Hebert. It marked the first time in the awards' history, given since 1980 to the top high school offensive player in the Greater Houston Area, that it went to two players.

Mack is the second player from Atascocita High School to win the award, joining Kenyon Green, who won it in 2018. Overall, Mack is the fourth athlete in Humble ISD history, joining Green, Humble High School's Jerrod Johnson (2005) and Leo Mills (1997), to claim the city's top prize.

"Those guys are all legends," Mack said. "They're legends in the Humble area. To be one of them, it's a blessing."

This past season, Mack finished with 2,099 yards and 32 touchdowns passing and rushed for another 1,549 yards and 20 scores.

Mack finished his Atascocita career passing for 3,983 yards and 51 touchdowns and rushing for another 4,837 yards and 60 touchdowns in 38 games for the Eagles.

Mack is signed to play at Arizona State University.
