At Guy M. Sconzo Early College High School (SECHS), in partnership with Lone Star College, qualified students have the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree or up to two years of credit toward a Bachelor’s degree—at no cost to families.
Sconzo Early College High School offers a small, supportive environment with rigorous instruction, accelerated courses, and opportunities for service learning and internships. Students benefit from a seamless transition from high school to college, with academic and social support services in place to help them succeed while reducing barriers to college access.

How to Apply
Sconzo Early College High School will begin its recruitment period with visits to Humble ISD middle schools from October 21 to November 20, 2025. An 8th Grade Parent Information Night will be held on November 20, from 6:00–7:30 p.m., to provide families with more details about the program and application process.
The Class of 2030 application will open on November 21, 2025, and will close on January 16, 2026. Learn how Guy M.
