Atascocita High School running back Cardae Mack and Summer Creek High School defensive end Amontre Harris were honored on Wednesday, August 13, by the Touchdown Club of Houston as selections to the 2025 All-Greater Houston UIL High School Preseason Football Team.

Mack and Harris were two of 33 players from the Greater Houston area to be selected for the team.

Last season, Mack – an Arizona State-commit – led Atascocita to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the Class 6A Division I Regional Final. Mack passed for 1,864 yards and 18 scores and rushed for another 1,918 yards and 22 touchdowns as a dual-threat quarterback for the Eagles. Mack was named the District 23-6A MVP in 2024.

Harris led Summer Creek to the program’s second-straight Class 6A Division II State Semifinal in 2024. The defensive end racked up 52 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 10 sacks (second-most on the team), nine QB hurries and four fumble recoveries his junior season. Harris was named a second-team, all-district selection at defensive end by District 23-6A coaches.

The 2025 season kicks off on August 29th with Atascocita visiting Lamar and Summer Creek taking on Shadow Creek on the road.
