Humble ISD celebrated its latest class of retiring employees at the annual Retirement Ceremony held on May 8, 2025, at the Humble Civic Center. The event honored those in attendance with dinner catered by Monterey’s Little Mexico Restaurant and musical entertainment from the Humble High School Chamber Orchestra. Retirees also received a clock, a plaque, and a certificate of appreciation.
This year’s retiree class represents 71 retirees with over 1,800 combined years of service in education.
The following are those who reached notable status given their 40+ total service years in their particular field in education or have served their entire professional career only with Humble ISD for 30+ years:
Susan Luethold - Coordinator with the Health Services Department
48 years total all with Humble ISD
Kevin Taylor - Mechanic Shop Foreman with the Transportation Department
35 years total all with Humble ISD
Robin McAdams - Visual Communications Coordinator with the Public Communications Department
35 years total all with Humble ISD
Paul Wilcox - CTE Teacher at Humble High School
33 years total all with Humble ISD
Deborah Curry - 1st Grade Teacher at North Bend Elementary School
33 years total all with Humble ISD
Sharon Sisco - Girls Athletics Coordinator/PE Teacher at Riverwood Middle School
32 years total all with Humble ISD
Maria Martinez - Child Nutrition Cashier with River Pines Elementary School
31 years total all with Humble ISD
