Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
Jennifer King, Special Education Teacher - Maplebrook Elementary School
Those who nominated her said, “Jennifer King is the perfect blend of a leader and a team player. Her professionalism, calm demeanor, and “can-do” attitude make her a joy to work with and a true asset to our campus. She consistently steps up to make the jobs of those around her easier, and she does so with kindness, humility, and a wonderful sense of humor. Mrs. King is deeply committed to her students and her work. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of her role, ensuring clear and consistent communication between the SPED department and our school community. Her ability to connect with students, stay organized, and maintain high expectations is truly inspiring. Maplebrook is incredibly blessed to have Mrs. King as part of our school family.”
Courtney Bobino, Media Service Librarian - Ross Sterling Middle School
Those who nominated her said, “Mrs. Bobino is a huge believer in closing the literacy gap, which compels her to build a strong culture of lifelong readers on campus. She led an amazing Battle of the Books team who performed wonderfully at the district competition. Her passion for reading is only matched by her deep love for students, and it shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s recommending the perfect book or creating a welcoming space in the library, Mrs. Bobino is a true champion for kids. We are honored to have her at SMS!”
James Fisher, Plumber - Maintenance and Operations
Those who nominated him said, “James Fisher joined Humble ISD January 2024, and is a great asset to the Maintenance Dept. James is always on time, never late. He has a very positive attitude and stays motivated with a smile on his face. James is a hard worker and is very knowledgeable of his trade. In fact, he recently passed his Backflow certification test, which will benefit our district greatly. We are grateful to James for the outstanding service and dedication that he provides to Humble ISD.”
