Humble High School graduates on Saturday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m. inside NRG Stadium. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
Moises Manuel Rios-Santos was named the Valedictorian, while Kennedy Zhane Wright-Henderson earned the distinction of Salutatorian.
“The availability of these resources paired with the welcoming attitude of Humble ISD staff is what made me believe that I could achieve my goal of being Valedictorian,” Rios-Santos said. “It is because of Humble ISD that I was able to reach this goal and gain the confidence to set an even higher one moving forward. The tools are provided to everyone equally, it's up to each individual to use them appropriately. Be proud but never satisfied as being complacent is the biggest mistake one can make. Set goals and achieve them, nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it, much less with the thorough help and support from Humble ISD.”
Wright-Henderson added: “Attending Humble ISD Schools helped me significantly for the next chapter of my life through the help of educators who embodied what it truly means to lead and provide wisdom, shaping me into the young woman I am today. No matter what campus I attended through elementary, middle, and high school, each educator provided me with knowledge that could assist me in and out of the classroom. Therefore, I feel well prepared to take on what life throws at me in the years to come.”
