Humble ISD's Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Tuesday, February 20. This month's Super Staffer Awards are sponsored by Khalid Siddiqui of Dairy Queen on Wilson Rd. in Humble.
Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
Jessica DeGraff, 3rd Grade RELA Teacher - Whispering Pines Elementary School
Those who nominated her said, "Jessica always goes above and beyond to help her team. She is willing to step in to support others and does not hesitate to be of service to her teammates or others in the WPE community. Students are not afraid to take academic risks as a result of the environment she created. We are blessed to have her at WPE.”
Hannah Cunningham, 7th Grade Math Teacher - Creekwood Middle School
Those who nominated her said, "Hannah is a first-year, new teacher at Creekwood, and she has done an outstanding job with her math class. She has such enthusiasm when speaking about her classes, and she is always looking for ways to improve. She also stepped up to sponsor STUCO, and she has done an amazing job getting the students involved and thinking out of the box about how they can improve our campus! Her excitement and love for her students is contagious!”
Irma Hernandez, Administrative Assistant - Assistant Superintendents for Secondary Schools Office
Those who nominated her said, "Irma is an extremely hard-working and dedicated employee. She works tirelessly to support the office of the Assistant Superintendent. Irma is excellent at multitasking, communicating with parents, organizing events, and keeping her team members organized! Her ability to always have a calm demeanor with difficult situations is a quality that is invaluable to the process of helping families. We are so thankful to have such a loyal and dedicated member of our team!"

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a gift card, thanks to sponsor Khalid Siddiqui, Dairy Queen on Wilson Road in Humble.
