Humble ISD's Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Tuesday, October 17. This month's Super Staffer Awards are sponsored by James Dickerson of DC Realty, Texas. Mr. Dickerson is also the co-coordinator of the Watch Dog program at Oak Forest Elementary School.

Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Dominic Milton - Jack Fields Elementary, P.E. Coach
Those who nominated him said, "Coach Dominic goes above and beyond for the students and staff at Jack Fields Elementary School. He plans a variety of activities that support our students' physical fitness levels and encourages each student to put forth effort to improve their skills. He has high expectations for all his students and, because they love him so much, they all work hard for him. Coach also offers fitness activities for staff and has hosted after school yoga on multiple occasions and invites staff to participate in Fitnessgram with students! He is a wonderful role model for everyone and JFE is lucky to have him!

Misty Oliver - Riverwood Middle School, Media Specialist
Those who nominated her said, "Misty is an amazing librarian who is so helpful, patient and enthusiastic with the students. She creates fun and engaging lessons for them and goes above and beyond to make sure students at all learning levels have the resources they need to succeed. She is creative and jumps right in to help however she can. Whether it be quickly coding a new iRobot lesson and training the students on how to use the robots, researching the best resources for her students, or helping new teachers learn the ins and outs of Schoology, Misty is a valuable asset to our campus and we are very grateful for her!

Chris Johnson - Maintenance and Operations, HVAC Supervisor

Those who nominated him said, "Chris' knowledge of all aspects of HVAC is top notch. He works diligently as the HVAC Supervisor to lead a team that ensures the air conditioning is working properly for all students and staff. Chris models the quote, "Work hard in silence. Let your success be your noise." His dedication is very much appreciated.
