Texas State Representative Charles Cunningham honored Woodcreek Middle School student Eduardo Trevino during the August 8, 2023 Humble ISD School Board Meeting.
Earlier this year, Trevino was the National Elementary/Middle School 1st Place Winner at the 2022 Mariachi Extravaganza. On March 15, 2023, he was presented a proclamation at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas during the 88th Session of the Texas Legislature by Representative Cunningham.
On Tuesday, Representative Cunningham re-enacted the proclamation at the Humble ISD School Board Meeting.
Trevino joined the meeting via Zoom from his family’s watch party of NBC’s America’s Got Talent auditions finale episode, which he performed on.
This past year, Trevino has been featured on ABC13, the Jennifer Hudson Show, America’s Got Talent and sang the National Anthem at a Houston Rockets and Houston Astros home game.
