District COVID testing sites for students closed Thanksgiving week; reopen on Nov. 30
Humble ISD’s COVID testing sites for students will be closed the week of Thanksgiving and reopen on Monday, Nov. 30. The district offers free, optional COVID testing to students who attend school on campus and whose parents would like for them to be tested. Parents make a request through the online Student COVID-19 Curbside Test Request Form. Humble ISD schools are closed the week of Thanksgiving, November 23-27. Classes resume Monday, November 30. Atascosita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Drive, 77346, is a site for COVID-19 testing offered by Harris County Public Health on Monday, Nov. 23 – Wednesday, Nov. 25. Open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register at www.hcphtx.us or call 832-927-7575. Appointments preferred. Walk-Ins welcome.

Online book fair this week
The library is hosting an online book fair from Nov. 9-20. Go shopping now to find some great books and help raise money for the library. There is detailed information about each book available. There are hard-cover, first-edition books starting at $5, and any order of more than $30 includes free shipping. All blooks are sent to your home.
Seniors: Time to order caps & gowns
It is time for seniors to order their caps & gowns, class rings and everything else they need for graduation.
The Balfour Company will be at school to take graduation orders on Nov. 17 & 18 during lunches in the cafeteria.
An $80 deposit is required. Orders can also be placed anytime online. All items will be shipped home except for the caps, gowns and diploma frames. They will be distributed at school in April.
Virtual students picture, class shirt pick-up
Any virtual students who need to pick up their school photos or their class t-shirts can do so from the reception desk any day between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
