Vision Statement
Students Helping Veterans: Big Heroes, Tiny Homes

Our vision is to promote student learning at the heart of every service project. We seek to establish a service-minded next generation by showing students that they can make a difference today. In keeping with the development of competencies identified in the Humble ISD’ Portrait of a Graduate Initiative, we foster personal responsibility, collaboration, critical thinking, creative innovation, global citizenship, communication, and leadership through the service of others.

Mission Statement
Students Helping Veterans: Big Heroes, Tiny Homes

The mission of Students Helping Veterans: Big Heroes, Tiny Homes is to create a student-stocked tiny home community for homeless veterans in the Houston area through partnerships with non-profits, businesses, and private individuals in our community. We seek to provide a sense of community and safety to these individuals who have formerly lived on the streets of Houston, and to ultimately foster the development of similar projects across the nation.
