The second annual AI Summit brought together more than 150 teachers, administrators, and paraeducators on Saturday, September 13, for a day dedicated to exploring how artificial intelligence can support educators and transform learning. With a retro sci-fi theme, the summit invited participants to reflect on where we’ve been with technology and where we are headed on this new frontier.
A Frontier of Innovation
The purpose of the summit was clear: to show how AI can make teaching more efficient while aligning with district and campus goals of meaningful work and student discourse. From advanced learners to language learners, the focus remained on ensuring that AI tools help reach every student.
Educators experienced engaging breakout sessions designed with immediate classroom application in mind. Partners from Adobe, Canva, School AI, and the Executive Director of STEM at Rice University shared practical ways AI can streamline lesson planning, support creativity, and amplify student voice.
Impact That Lasts
Feedback from participants highlighted just how powerful the day was.
“I am leaving so inspired and fired up about passing these tools on to teachers on my campus. Every single thing I heard today is going to benefit the students that walk the halls in my school. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was life-changing!” — Stephanie Tompkins
“I am truly grateful to you all for giving me the opportunity to participate in this conference. It was hands down one of the best conferences I have attended.” — Eromi Fernando
Looking Forward
The success of this year’s AI Summit underscored the potential of artificial intelligence to reimagine teaching and learning. Attendees left energized, equipped with strategies they could immediately implement, and confident about how AI can support both their professional growth and student success.
