After months of hard work, coding, and collaboration, the top 48 teams out of 154 returned to battle it out in the highly anticipated HERO Robotics Finals on Saturday, April 26 at Ross Sterling Middle School. These young innovators—4th and 5th grade students from across the district—showcased their engineering and problem-solving talents as they tackled a final round of challenges inspired by this year’s theme: National Parks.

A huge congratulations goes to our 2025 overall champions, the

Silver Coyotes from Centennial Elementary! In the Robotics category, The Sigmas from Oaks Elementary claimed the top spot, while WLW from Autumn Creek Elementary triumphed in the App Challenge with an inventive solution to a real-world national park problem.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible judges and volunteers, including local Scout Troops 27 and 1219 and representatives from the National Parks Service.

Special thanks to Ross Sterling Middle School for graciously hosting the event and helping make the day unforgettable.

The future of tech and teamwork is bright in our district!
