Applications for the Class of 2029 are closed
Sconzo staff and students will begin Our 25-26 Recruitment period and visit Humble ISD middle school campuses from October 21st - November 20, 2025.
Our 8th Grade Parent Information Night November 20th 6:00-7:30 pm.
The Class of 2030 Application will open on November 21st, 2025 and will close on January 16. 2026

STEP 1 - ONLINE APPLICATION
Students and parents/guardians must complete the online application together using the application here.
Class of 2030 application will open November 21st, 2025.
*Families will be notified around Spring Break of admission status (Accepted or Waitlist). We recommend also filling out a district transfer form if you plan on transferring to a different comprehensive high school while you wait for the results of the SECHS lottery.
STEP 2 - OPTIONAL REFLECTION ESSAYS
Students submit their optional reflection essays to the College Readiness Coordinator Ms. Sarah Evans at saevans@humbleisd.net
Two Reflection Essays - Prompt A and Prompt B or C, 350-500 word response, include full name, middle school, Humble ISD ID number in the header
Prompt A - All Students:
Prompt A - What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood, or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.
Prompt B or C - Choose one of the following:
Prompt B - Most students have an identity, and interest, or a talent that defines them in an essential way. Tell us about yourself.
Prompt C - You've got a ticket in your hand. Where will you go? What will you do? What will happen when you get there?
