Students in Mrs. Arreguin's class wrote about their turkeys in disguise! Using their creativity, they described how their turkeys transformed to avoid being the Thanksgiving feast. From superheroes to ballerinas, each student described how their turkey was disguised to avoid being the next meal.

Day 2 of our Thanksgiving Feast was amazing! Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles showed up to enjoy a meal with students before we head into this Thanksgiving Break. We want to thank all of our parents/guardians again for all that they do.

Mrs. Galarza's class has been learning about force and motion. They got the chance to conduct an experiment to test the outcome of the effects of varying incline planes on the distance a car will travel. It's always great to see students given a chance to test concepts they've just learned.

1st grade visited the Houston Children's Museum, where they were able to make forecasts of the weather, learn about different types of motion, ecosystems, lifecycles and, uses of water.
They also were able to earn income and spent their money. Way to go first grade!

We celebrated Veteran's Day with performances by our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. With special performances by the RPE: Ribbit Recorders, Step Team, and Dynamic Dance Team. Our guest speaker was Mrs. Marquez (Nurse Liz), who shared her experiences in the army. We want to thank all veterans for their service to our country.
