
Battle of the Books will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Humble High School.


Mr. Chapa Humble High School’s Career Technology Teacher, came to highlight the Automotive & Mechanic career pathway for our 5th grade Tree Frogs! HHS Automotive Student Ambassadors came to talk about their personal experiences with this career pathway. Ms. Toro shared the importance of the “Great 8 Skills” and attendance in being successful in any pathway in life, especially school. These opportunities are important for our students, so they know what options are out there for them, now and in the future.





We celebrated our Perfect Attendance students from February by giving them more time on the playground. These students hadn't missed a day of school in February. Way to go Tree Frogs!






Our Specials team joined forces to introduce our Pre-K students to technology using Spheros! From coding basics to creative exploration, our little learners had a blast.





We want to thank Clara Guidry from Crime Stoppers of Houston, for taking the time to visit with our 3rd and 4th graders and sharing such important information. We appreciate your dedication to keeping our community safe and for empowering our young learners with knowledge.





We are excited to introduce Officer McKinney as the newest member of our school community! You may see him around campus, greeting students in the mornings, attending school events, and providing support in numerous other areas of our day to day here at RPE. Please join us in giving Officer McKinney a warm welcome! We look forward to the positive impact he will bring to our school.

We held our Restorative Practices Pep Rally today with K-2. Where they got to show off their classroom chants. They put in a lot of work to create chants that represent who they are and what they are about. https://bit.ly/414qbds






RPE's Step Team got to perform at the PTA Founders' Day event. We got to show them what RPE has to offer and before we left we taught the members their own step. https://bit.ly/41cW57y







We are so excited that Dr. Dwight Smith, CTE teacher, from Summer Creek High School and Ms. Toro from Student Support Services were able to come to River Pines Elementary to highlight the Law Enforcement career pathway and the importance of attendance as it relates to careers, for our 5th grade Tree Frogs!




Kindergarten's tulips have bloomed, it's exciting to see the product of all their hard work. Way to go Kinder!


Our 2nd Attendance participation was larger than our first! It was great to see more students be able to attend the dance. We look forward to seeing more Tree Frogs at the February Attendance.

Students and Staff celebrated the 100th Day of School, by dressing up older versions of themselves. It's hard to believe we have already reached the 100th day of school, there's still a lot to learn before we close out this year.











Congratulations to Trey Smith for winning 10 VIP visits to Kangas donated by Marilyn Mann HumbleISD community liaison. His mom won the raffle drawing at the Pastries with Principal's meeting on Jan. 27th.


Kinder planted Tulips in the RPE garden, we can't wait to see them bloom in the spring.
