A record-setting 25 Humble ISD campuses received the Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) Counseling Excellence Award for 2025 from the Texas School Counselor Association, more than doubling the 12 campuses honored the previous year.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the lead counselors for the 25 campuses were honored at the Humble ISD Board of Trustees Recognition meeting.
Humble ISD Director of Counseling & Behavioral Services, Tye Hobbs, made the presentation, and the following staff members were recognized:

Centennial Elementary: Marylana Collins
Eagle Springs Elementary: Tammi Davis
Elm Grove Elementary: Elain Dabney
Groves Elementary: Amanda Baba

While the lead counselors from Hidden Hollow Elementary and Riverwood Middle School were unable to attend the recognition meeting in person, their dedication and contributions were celebrated just the same, ensuring that every counselor was honored.
Humble ISD is proud to recognize a total of 72 counselors for their outstanding work in fostering student success and well-being across all grade levels.
