Dear Kingwood Park High School Families of the Class of 2026,

We are excited to announce that the Fertitta Center, on the campus of the University of Houston, has been chosen as the venue for the KPHS Class of 2026 Graduation! The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Parking and Ticket Information:

Tickets will not be required for Kingwood Park High School’s graduation.
Parking is available near the Fertitta Center.

Why was the Fertitta Center chosen for Kingwood Park High School’s graduation?

In recent years, Humble ISD has hosted graduation ceremonies for the district’s 5A/6A high schools at NRG Stadium during Memorial Day weekend. However, due to preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026, NRG Stadium will be unavailable this year. This has impacted school districts across the Houston region, as many schools used NRG and all prefer similar dates for their ceremonies. Securing a venue has been more complex this year due to more schools seeking limited spots. Humble ISD reached out to multiple facilities and carefully considered what would work best for our families.

Kingwood Park High School was placed at the Fertitta Center because all KPHS guests can fit into the Fertitta Center without the need to issue tickets. The Fertitta Center has undergone state-of-the-art renovations and offers an intimate setting where guests will have a close view of graduates throughout the ceremony.
