Students must remain in good standing to keep parking privileges. Discipline infractions, excessive tardiness, and/or excessive absences can affect your parking permit status. A student may lose their parking privileges for some time or the remainder of the semester for the following:

  • Truancy

  • Leaving campus without proper authorization

  • A violation related to alcohol/drugs, including being charged with DWI/DUI

  • Reckless driving on school property

  • Failure to acknowledge directives of school personnel

  • Using your parking privileges to allow sophomores or other unauthorized students to park

  • Allowing other students to borrow your space or tag

  • Parking without a pass

  • Failure to report an accident/collision to Humble ISD PD and/or school administration at the time the accident occurs

Towing

Vehicles that are parked in unauthorized areas will be towed by Humble Towing Services. These areas include, but are not limited to:

a) faculty/staff parking

b) the circle driveway

c) bus loading and unloading areas

d) any student in a parking space assigned to another student

e) the band practice area after 3:00pm

f) fire zones

g) visitor parking

Parking Violations

  • First offense:  Extended D-Hall

  • Second offense: Extended D-Hall and towed vehicle

  • Third offense = Extended D-Hall, towed vehicle, and revocation of current parking tag, if applicable. After the third parking violation, students will not be permitted to apply for a parking tag the following year, and ISS may be assigned.

  • NOTE: Students who leave campus without authorization during Mustang Hour or at any other time of the day will receive additional consequences, including ISS, even for a first offense.

All students must display their hanging tags while on campus. Any vehicle parked without a hanging tag will be issued a parking violation and is subject to towing or loss of parking privileges for repeated offenses.

Kingwood High School and Humble ISD are not responsible for damages incurred while cars are parked on campus. Any damage to vehicles should be reported to the campus police officer (281-641-7900) as promptly as possible.

If you are issued a parking permit, there may be times when an unauthorized vehicle is parked in your spot.  If this occurs, please report this to office 2400, and you will be directed to a space on campus where you may park.

Parking Tag Fee for 2025 - 2026 is $50.00.
