Hello everyone! This is my second year at HMS and I am so happy to be here. I have been teaching orchestra for a few years now, and have been playing the violin since I was five years old. 

I am from a small town in Idaho, and went to college at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I graduated with a BA in Music Education and am living my dream of teaching music to wonderful students. When I am not teaching, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, going to concerts, trying out new restaurants with my husband, and training our new puppy.  

I lived in Peru for a couple of years in 2016, and that is where I learned to speak Spanish. I am a little rusty, since Idaho doesn't offer many opportunities to use my Spanish, but I have loved getting to speak it with my students and their families. That being said, si hay algo que quiere decirme, pero no tiene mucha confianza en Inglés, puede hablarme en Español. 

I am excited about this year! Already we have had such a great start, and I can't wait to see how the rest of it goes. Feel free to text or email me with any question or concern you may have.
