At Humble Middle School, the school counselors prepare students for success during and after their secondary school years. The counselors focus on helping students balance life’s needs such as school, family and friends. Emphasis is placed on developing each child intellectually, artistically, emotionally, and socially, so that all students are life-long learners, complex thinkers, responsible global citizens and effective communicators. We equip students with life skills such as time management, good study habits and attitudes that prove beneficial to students in any school, work or personal situation. Counselors are also available as resources to parents / caregivers, act as consultants to teachers and serve as sources of institutional knowledge for administrators.
