Cory Roberts

Mr. Roberts begins his 18th year at Humble High School and 9th year as the Director of Bands. He is the conductor for both the wind symphony ensemble and the marching band.  Under Mr. Roberts leadership, the Wildcat Band has grown from 90 members to over 200 since 2017.  Mr. Roberts' bands have earned many superior ratings at both Marching and Concert evaluations.  Outside of band Mr. Roberts considers himself to be a Disney fanatic, and enjoys playing Tennis and Golf.  He has two awesome kids, Ian (12) and Avery (7).  Mr. Roberts is excited for the 2021-2022 school year!

Jose Garza

Mr. Garza is an alumni of Sharyland High School in Mission, TX and is in his 10th year as a Color Guard Director.  He has competed in competitions such as Bands of America, Drum Corps International, and Winter Guard International.  His teaching carrer consist of Sharyland HS, La Grulla HS, Mission Veterans HS, Nimitz HS, and is currently the instructor for Humble HS.  He has won many high schools First Division at UIL and Outstanding Color Guard in both Marching and Winter Seasons.  He marched with Mystikal Drum and Bugle Corps from California, Revolution Drum and Bugle Corps from San Antonio, and is currently the Color Guard Caption Head for Compass Drum and Bugle Corps out of Kerrville.  He is very proud to be an Humble Wildcat!
