Mr. Jermon Malone joins Atascocita Middle School as the new Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. He rejoined Humble ISD in the fall of 2022 as the 8th grade principal at West Lake Middle School. Mr. Malone has been in the field of education for over seventeen years, with eleven of those years in school administration. He has served as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction, Teacher, Para Educator, and Guest Teacher.
In the field of education, Mr. Malone has organized countless professional development opportunities, staff training, planned safety and security initiatives, led several curriculum development and strategic planning committees, was the community liaison for campuses, led content area departments, and is an advocate for student achievement. He both enjoys and appreciates working collaboratively with colleagues to assure that all students are provided the best possible learning opportunities, and are put in position to grow and progress in their academic endeavors.
Mr. Malone has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration as well as Master’s Degrees in Educational Administration, and Community and Economic Development, and Applied Biblical Studies Mr. Malone currently also has 36 hours in Doctoral coursework in Curriculum and Instruction.
In his spare time, Mr. Malone enjoys spending his time traveling, trying new restaurants, golfing, cycling and mountain biking, hiking, and landscape design. His greatest joy however is spending time with his family creating adventure, and looking for new places to explore.
