Mission The mission of Humble ISD libraries and librarians is to elevate learning for everyone, everywhere. Vision A vital component of the instructional program, Humble ISD librarians deliver excellence in education for the entire school community, advancing the ability to make informed decisions and think critically.

 

Research Assistance & Instruction

Research Assistance & Instruction is provided for individuals and groups. This element includes research skills classes, workshops and professional learning sessions for all members of the school community, taught by certified librarians.

Transformative & Enriching Experiences

Transformative and Enriching Experiences are provided through events, activities, instruction, and partnerships that nurture curiosity, connect learners, put learning in context, and develop culture and community on the campus.

Personalized & Self-Directed Learning

Personalized & Self-Directed Learning is accomplished by providing point of need access to our vast collection of items in print, audio and digital formats, plus instructional tutorials and a wide variety of premium online research tools for all ages and content areas.
