DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
The Office of State and Federal Programs is responsible for the coordination and supervision of various federal, state, and local programs. This includes funding and initiatives under the:- Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) reuathorized as the Every Student Succeeds Act in 2015 (ESSA)
- Title I - Improving Basic Programs
- Title II - Supporting Effective Instruction
- Title III - English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement
- Title IV - Student Support and Academic Enrichment
- Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief FundESSER I, II, II, and SUPP
- ESSER I - Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)
- ESSER II - Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA Act)
- ESSER III - American Rescue Plan (ARP Act)
- ESSER SUPP - ESSER Supplemental (TEA ESSER III funding supplement)
- State Compensatory Education
- State At-Risk
- Local At-Risk
- Economically Disadvantaged
- Enrolled at a Title I School
- Pregnancy Related Services support
- Technology & Instructional Materials Allotment (TIMA).
We also provide training and program development in the areas of needs assessments, program evaluations, progress monitoring, and district and campus improvement plans; and organize the work of the District Decision Making Committee (DDM).
Humble ISD State & Federal Grants/Programs Procedures Manual
In accordance with School Board Policy, BP (LOCAL), the Superintendent and administrative staff shall be responsible for developing and enforcing procedures for the operation of the District. These procedures shall constitute the administrative regulations of the District and shall consist of guidelines, handbooks, manuals, forms, and any other documents defining standard operating procedures. The Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting and the Director of State and Federal Programs shall approve this State and Federal Grant/Programs Manual on an annual basis, or as appropriate, if federal, state, or local changes in regulations or policy warrant immediate changes. - Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) reuathorized as the Every Student Succeeds Act in 2015 (ESSA)
