Sharpening others by showing genuine care for students

Want to join the Iron Men program?
Eligibility | Iron Men include fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures of currently enrolled middle or high school students. Minimum age requirement is 21 years old. |

Application Process: | Complete the district volunteer application on the Humble ISD Office of Community Development volunteer webpage. https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/MTA4NDplbi1VUw== Please fill out this Google Form if you are interested in joining the Iron Men Program. |
Background Check | A background check will be conducted, and volunteers will receive notification of the application status within 72 hours. |
Confidentiality | Volunteers must sign a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement to protect the rights of students, given that students in middle and high school are minors. |
Training | Attend a short Iron Men training session. |
Security Measures | Sign in to the Raptor system upon entering the campus. Wear the Raptor visitor sticker on the upper chest area (left or right side). |
Volunteer Commitment | Volunteer for at least 8 hours over the school year, either one full day or in increments of 2- or 4-hour time periods. |
Dress Code | Wear the Iron Men t-shirt and jeans or dress pants during the visit to visually communicate your presence and role on the campus. |
