Raymond Edwin Isaacks
Raymond Edwin Isaacks was born on July 4, 1918.
He served on the Humble ISD School Board for nearly 2 years. He was elected to Position 7 on August 7, 1951 and served continuously until May 6, 1953.
Raymond Edwin Isaacks died on December 29, 1994.

Kelcy Coy Isenberg, Sr.
Kelcy Coy Isenberg, Sr. was born on November 24, 1905.
Kelcy C. Isenberg served on the Humble ISD School Board in Position 4 for 10 years, having started on February 7, 1936 and served continuously until April 8, 1946.

Donald M. Johnson
Donald M. Johnson worked as the National Manager of Technical Services for Pennzoil Products Co. He also worked as a sales engineer at Schsan Industries.
Donald Johnson served on the Humble ISD School Board for 6 years. He was elected to Position 3 on October 4, 1975 and served continuously until January 19, 1982.

Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson was a former manager of the Kingwood Service Association.
She served on the Humble ISD School Board for one year, having started in Position 3 on January 19, 1988 and served until February 14, 1989. She resigned from the board to move to California.

Ken Kirchhofer
Ken is Director of Operations for the Atascocita Golf Club. His family includes wife Ruth of 29 years and his daughter Brooke, son Tyler, and daughter-in-law Kristie, who all are graduates of Atascocita High School. Ken and his wife have lived in the Humble district for over 23 years. His family are long-time members of Northeast Baptist Church.
Ken is a PGA Class A Member who is credited with reviving the Atascocita Golf Club under his leadership. His business is a source of employment for a number of Humble ISD students. Ken also serves as an adviser for Eric’s Playground benefitting children with autism and is a Board Member for Boots For Troops, supporting our active military.
Ken serves as Chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Finance Committee.

J. P. Kiser
J. P. Kiser served on two school boards that were predecessors to Humble Independent School District.
He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 from 1916 through 1918. In 1918, Districts No. 28 and No. 35 were combined into District No. 50.
J. P. Kiser served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 50 from 1918 until February 1919, when District No. 50 was transformed into the Humble Independent School District.
Aug. R. Kostelker
Aug. R. Kostelker served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 35, which was one of the predecessors to the Humble Independent School District.
He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 35 for 2 years, from April 3, 1909 through April 14, 1910.

Nick Lambrecht
Nick Lambrecht was born on December 5, 1854.
He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 2 years, from 1906 through 1908.
Nick Lambrecht died on January 25, 1920.

William Walter Landwher
William Landwher was born on November 29, 1871.
He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 1 year, from April 6, 1907 through 1908.

Keith Lapeze
Keith Lapeze is a partner at the law firm Lapeze & Johns, P.L.L.C.
Mr. Lapeze served on the Humble ISD School Board for 14.5 years. He was elected to Position 2 on May 13, 2006, and served for 13 years through May 4, 2019. He served an additional year and a half when he was appointed to serve out the remainder of Charles Cunningham's term in Position 4, from October 2019 until May 2021.

Mr. Lapeze has been a member of the Board and Superintendent Evaluation Committee, Legislative Committee, and Program Evaluation Committee. He has also served on the Kingwood Medical Center’s Board of Trustees.
Frank Layne
Frank Layne served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 35 for 3 years, from April 14, 1910 through April 5, 1913.
W. B. Layne
W. B. Layne served on the Humble ISD School Board for 6 years. He was elected to Position 7 on April 8, 1941 and served continuously through April 8, 1947.

Robert Douglas Leonhard
At the time he was elected to the school board, Douglas Leonhard was Vice-President and Houston Projects Manager at Friendswood Development Co.'s Houston project office. He later served as Senior Vice-President of the Woodlands Development Corporation. Starting in 1998, he became the Director of TVMAX Holdings in Houston.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Rutgers University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
Douglas Leonhard served on the Humble ISD School Board for over 6 years. He was elected to Position1 on October 4, 1975 and serving until January 19, 1982.

Francis Marian Long
Francis Marian Long was born on August 29, 1891. He started in the Humble oil field as a roughneck. He went to work as a driller for John O'Neil and Niels Esperson, and eventually formed his own drilling operation.
F. M. Long served on the Humble ISD School Board for 8 years. He was elected to Position 4 on June 4, 1923 and served continuously through April 4, 1931. On the School Board, he served as:

His father, Henry Long, also served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 (which eventually became Humble ISD) from 1906 through 1908.
Francis Marian Long died on August 25, 1943.

Henry Long
Henry Long was born on October 4, 1840 in Berlin, Germany. He arrived in Galveston, Texas at the age of 15, as a stowaway on a merchant ship. He joined the Civil War and lost an arm at the Battle of Shiloh. He came to the Houston area in the early 1870s. He returned to Florida during the 1890s, but had moved to Humble by 1910. He operated a general store and was also a cattleman.
Henry Long served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 2 years, from 1906 through 1908.
His son, Francis Martin Long, also served on the Humble ISD School Board from 1923 through 1931.
Henry Long died on January 3, 1916.
Louis Wiley Long
Louis Wiley Long was born in 1866 in Pensacola, Florida. He worked as a rancher and cattleman on his farm off of the Atascocita Road.
L. W. Long served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 1 year, from 1899 through 1900.
Louis Wiley Long died on September 22, 1960 in Humble, Texas.

Dr. Bonnie L. Longnion
Dr. Bonnie L. Longnion was college administrator for Lone Star College system for over 20 years, and worked in the Office of External Affairs as Associate Vice-Chancellor for instructional and resource development in 2003. After retiring from Lonestar, she served as a part-time adjunct instructor for the University of Houston - Downtown.
Dr. Bonnie L. Longnion served on the Humble ISD School Board for over 24 years. She was elected to Position 3 on February 14, 1989 and served continuously through May, 11, 2013.

Dr. Longion was elected to the position of President of the Texas Association of School Board in 2003. She also served on the Gulf Coast Association of School Boards. She is a past president of FamilyTime and a past president of the Northeast Chapter of the American Heart Association. She was a founding member and secretary of the Greater Houston P-16+ Council.

Dr. William A. Lufburrow
Dr. William A. Lufburrow was born on December 31, 1931. A native of Baltimore who lived in Houston for over 20 years, Dr. Lufburrow was President of Goodwill Industries in Houston. He held a Bachelors degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Masters Degree from Drew University in New Jersey, and a Doctor of Divinity degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Dr. Lufburrow also authored three books, including "Illustrations Without Sermons."
Dr. Lufburrow served on the Humble ISD School Board for almost 7 years. He was elected to Position 3 on April 3, 1972 and serving until January 2, 1979.

Dr. William A. Lufburrow died on January 5, 1986.

John Thomas Magness
John Thomas Magness was born on September 17, 1885. He worked in the oil field as a driller, and later as an assistant field manager, for the Texas Company (which later became Texaco). He was transferred to Humble in 1911.
J. T. Magness served on the Humble ISD School Board for 2 years. He was first appointed on June 30, 1923 to complete the unexpired term of Dr. John B. Dubose. He was then elected on April 7, 1924 and served through April 6, 1925.
John Thomas Magness died on April 30, 1929.
Eugene Benjamin Martel
Eugene Benjamin Martel was born on May 19, 1882.
E. B. Martel served on the Humble ISD School Board three different times. The first time, he served for 3 years in Position 5, beginning on April 4, 1931 and serving until April 7, 1934.
The second time, he served for 6 years in Position 7, beginning on April 11, 1935 and serving through April 8, 1941.
He served the third time by being appointed to fill the vacant position of Gilbert W. Bubendorf in Position 1 for a year, from April 8, 1941 through April 7, 1942.

David P. Martin
David P. Martin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Martin worked as Senior Vice-President of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and also has worked for the accounting firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and Ernst & Young, LLP.
David P. Martin served on the Humble ISD School Board in Position 6 for 8 years. He was elected on May 15, 2004 and served continuously through December 11, 2012.

Mr. Martin has served on the Board of Directors for the Harris County Sports Authority. He has been involved with both the Greater Houston Partnerships and the "Raise your Hand Texas" organizations.
Following his service on the Humble ISD School Board, Mr. Martin was elected as a member of the Houston City Council starting in November 2012.

George Andrew Martin
George Andrew Martin was born on August 2, 1882 in Clarke County, Missouri. He came to Texas in 1902 to work work as a drilling contractor in the Spindletop oil field. He was one half of the firm of Cezeaux and Martin, a successful oil drilling and operations firm.
George A. Martin served on the Humble ISD School Board for 5 1/2 years. He was elected on April 6, 1925 and resigned on February 3, 1931.

George Andrew Martin died on May 12, 1950.
Lloyd Earl Martin
Lloyd Earl Martin was born on September 22, 1907. He moved to Humble with his family in 1908. He graduated from Humble High School in 1926. He worked in the Humble oil field and as a volunteer fireman.
L. E. Martin served on the Humble ISD School Board in Position 3 for 3 years. He was elected on April6, 1943 and served continuously through April 8, 1946.
His father, George Andrew Martin, served on the Humble ISD School Board from 1925 through 1931.
Lloyd Earl Martin died on November 23, 2000.

Harold Eugene Mason
Harold Eugene Mason was born on August 8, 1923. He worked as a maintenance foreman and Quality Control Manager at General Metals Corp. in Houston. During World War II, he served as a Boatswains Mate 1st Class in the United States Navy.
Harold Mason served on the Humble ISD School Board for 12 years. He was elected to Position 7 on May 9, 1956 and serving continuously until April 9, 1968.

Fred D. McClure
Fred D. McClure worked as an accountant and Divisional Department Manager with Southwestern Pipe Co. in Houston, and also worked as a Sales Manager at Applied Research Development Co.
He served on the Humble ISD School Board for 4 years. He was elected to Position 4 on April 6, 1965 and serving until May 13, 1969.

Dr. Hayden E. McKay Sr. was born on August 6, 1870.
Dr. H. E. McKay served on the Humble ISD School Board for 2 years. He was elected on April 7, 1924 and served through April 6, 1926.

Lowell Bruce Montgomery
Lowell Bruce Montgomery was born on August 8, 1938. He worked as an accountant with Plastic Applicators, Inc.
Lowell Montgomery served on the Humble ISD School Board for 4 years. He was elected to Position 1 on April 6, 1966 and serving until July 14, 1970.

Mr. Montgomery later served as a Councilman for the City of Humble 1973-1978. His father, Lowell Harmon Montgomery, served on the Humble ISD School Board from November 1952 through May 1956.

Lowell Harmon Montgomery was born on September 21, 1911.
L. H. Montgomery served on the Humble ISD School Board for pver 3 years. He was elected to Position 5 on November 13, 1952 and serving until May 9, 1955.

Dr. J. Alford Moore
Dr. J. Alford Moore founded the Eastex Veterinary Clinic in 1970. He is a graduate of Texas A & M University. Dr. J. Alford Moore holds the distinction on serving on the Humble ISD School Board longer than any individual.
He served on the board two different times. The first time he was elected on October 8, 1974 to Position 6, and served continuously for 27 1/2 years until May 4, 2002.
The second time he was appointed to complete the unexpired term of Board Member Bob Strader in Position 6, from December 9, 2003 until May 15, 2004, for a total of 28 years of service to Humble ISD.

He has been active in the Texas Veterinary Medicine Association, having been chairman of TVMA's Historical Committee and co-chairman of TVMA's Centennial Task Force. He has also served as President of the Humble Rotary Club 1975-1976, President of the Humble Museum Bicentennial Society.
Dr. Moore was named "Citizen of the Year" for 1983 by the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce.
R. L. Morris
R. L. Morris served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 35 for 1 year, from April 5, 1913 through 1914.

Nancy Morrison
Nancy Morrison is a former teacher, assistant principal, and principal who served Humble ISD families in Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Lakeshore and Summerwood. A graduate of Midwestern State University, she earned her Masters degree at Stephen F. Austin State University.
She was elected to Position 7 on May 9, 2015 and served until May 6, 2023

Mrs. Morrison is a member of the Mu Pi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for Key Women Educators, and is a retired member of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association and ATPE.
She has been chairman of the School Board’s Legislative Committee, and has served on the Finance and Program Evaluation committees.

N. F. Myers
N. F. "Pat" Myers served on the Humble ISD School Board for 6 years. He was appointed to Position 3 on May 7, 1957 and served until April 9, 1963.

Weaver Autry Odom, Sr.
Weaver Autry Odom, Sr. was born on January 14, 1916 in Glendale, Texas. He was the owner of Odom's Texaco Service Station in Humble.
W. A. Odom served on the Humble ISD School Board for over 10 years. He was appointed to Position 1 on January 3, 1956 to fill the unexpired term of Carl Lycester Gilbert. He was later re-elected and served until April 5, 1966.
