  • 2013/2014 Enrollment Packet Pick-up

    Wednesday, August 7th 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8th 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 9th 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m. EPI will also be at Park Lakes in the cafeteria Thursday, August 15th and Friday, August 16th selling prepackaged school supplies. We encourage you to take advantage of ordering now because EPI only carries a limited number of supplies in August and they do tend to run out before the end of the sale. You can also order your prepackaged supplies online at www.epipacks.com through June 24, 2013. Our EPI school ID number is PAR269. The packages will be delivered in August and will be delivered to your child's classroom.

  • PLE Soccer Team wins tournament!

    Congratulations to our PLE soccer team for winning 1st place in the Texas Heatwave Soccer Tournament. We are very proud of our boys! They had a very difficult tournament but, still managed to find ways to come back and win. Our trophy will be on display in the trophy case in front of the office.

  • Park Lakes "Robotics" team!

    Park Lakes sent four robotic teams to the Humble ISD All-Earth Ecobot Challenge March 23. All four teams did exceptionally well! In all, there were 112 teams at the challenge. Two of PLE's teams finished in the top-ten, and the other two teams were in the top-twenty. Way to go teams. PLE is proud of you all!

  • New Ridge Creek Elementary School Boundaries

    Ridge Creek Elementary School, Humble ISD’s new elementary school, will welcome its first students beginning in the 2013-2014 school year. The Humble ISD Board of Trustees recently approved attendance boundaries for the new school.

  • Jump Rope for Heart Winners!

    Congratulations to Melanie and Jesica our 2012-2013 Jump Rope for Heart winners. This year Jump Rope for Heart has taught our kids the value of getting active, staying healthy and giving back to their communities. Your support has enabled the American Heart Association to continue the vital research that leads to breakthrough medical advances, social change and health education. THANK YOU for helping to make our Jump Rope for Heart event such a great success!

  • Park Lakes 2013/14 Teacher of the Year!

    Congratulations to Jayme Armstreet who was voted as our new Teacher of the Year! Ms. Armstreet has been a 1st & 2nd grade teacher at Park Lakes Elementary for 7 years and has done such an incredible job! When you see Ms. Armstreet, be sure and congratulate her!

  • Houston Astros and PLE Baseball Team!

    Recently, our PLE baseball team had the opportunity to go on a spending spree at Academy Sports & Outdoors with our very own Houston Astros. Each member of our baseball team got $100.00 to spend and they walked the store with Houston Astros players Brandon Backe,Tyler Greene, Lucas Harrell, Carlos Pena and the Astros mascot Orbit. Astros players help our students select cleats, baseball gloves, bats and other baseball related equipment. We are now equipped and ready for our exciting upcoming baseball season.
