Tardy Policy

All students are expected to attend school regularly and to be on time to classes in order to derive maximum benefit from the instructional program and to develop habits of punctuality, self-discipline, and responsibility. Students who enter a class after the tardy bell are a disruption to that class.
  • When the tardy bell rings, students are expected to be in class to receive instructions for the day. Promptness is stressed and is expected.
  • Disciplinary measures may be taken for excessive tardiness. The range of consequences used may include, but are not limited to, verbal reprimand, parent conference, detention, and possibly returning student who has been transferred back to his/her campus.
  • Parents must send a note indicating the reason for tardiness, and the tardy student must take that note to the office for an admit slip.
