Update: Our campus is still without power. CenterPoint’s estimated time of restoring electrical power is 11:30 a.m. 

Dear Woodland Hills Elementary parents,

At approximately 8 a.m. our campus lost electrical power. CenterPoint is reporting 5200 customers are without power. CenterPoint’s estimated time of restoring electrical power is 9:45 a.m.

An emergency generator is providing some light in the hallways and classrooms, and all teachers have flashlights. Students in portable buildings were brought into the main building.

Lunch will be sandwiches, vegetables and fruit today.
