Two Humble ISD entries win big at City of Humble’s 28th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights

Christmas Parade Winners 2019

Two Humble ISD entries took top honors at the City of Humble’s 28th annual Christmas Parade of Lights.  The Kingwood Park High School Administration Team won for top entry in the motor vehicle category.  The Humble ISD Maintenance and Operations Team won for its entry in the school float category.

Parade organizer Gwen Key gave Humble ISD praise for its participation.  "There were 36 school related groups from Humble ISD out of 107 categories which is pretty impressive."

Other categories included business floats and community organization floats.  Judging was based on adherence to the parade theme and use of lights.

The Parade of Lights took place along Humble’s historic Main Street on Tuesday, Dec. 3.  The annual parade featured several organizations and business participants from the Greater Lake Houston Area.  This year’s parade theme was “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

Each year, the City of Humble Beautification Committee organizes the Christmas Parade of Lights.  Photos from this year's parade can be viewed in the gallery below.
