Humble ISD College Night 2019

 Humble ISD College Night 2019

Hundreds of Humble ISD students and parents gathered at the Humble Civic Center for College Night on October 7. The annual event provides high school students the opportunity to meet college representatives and collect information from universities, colleges, technical trade schools, and the U.S. military.

Representatives from more than 115 colleges and universities, along with three military institutions, were available to discuss programs of study, financial aid, admission requirements, athletics, student services, student activities, and other topics. Attending a university is just one of the options for students after high school graduation. Other students may choose to take a different route, like the military or technical trade school.

Students and parents moved from table to table collecting brochures, college swag, and advice on application procedures and what post-grad could look like for them. Although College Night brings out many junior and senior high school students, there were many underclassmen browsing their future options.

Humble ISD College Night is made possible through a partnership between Humble ISD and the Humble ISD Council of PTAs. Each year College Night brings out more schools, more tables and hundreds of opportunities for Humble ISD students.
