Gold, Fight, Win Event at September 13 AHS vs. KHS Varsity Football Game

More than 9,000 people attended the #GoldFightWin event at the September 13, Atascocita vs. Kingwood varsity football game. A special half time show included a performance of the combined bands and dance teams of both AHS and KHS. Many attendees wore Gold, Fight, Win t-shirts in support of Childhood Cancer awareness and research. Many student groups involved in the event wore gold, including cheer, dance and football players.

Humble ISD students who have battled pediatric cancer served as honorary team captains and participated in the coin toss. Pediatric cancer patients and their families were also provided reserved seating for the game. The game was also provided via live stream to patients in the pediatric cancer wing of Texas Children’s Hospital.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Humble ISD is proud to be partnering with three local non-profits: Addi's Faith FoundationL3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer to support children who are battling pediatric cancer and to raise awareness.
